Chloe is currently completing a Level 3 Advanced Apprenticeship in Digital Marketing. She works as a Media and Marketing Assistant for Expanse Group Ltd.
What skills have you gained during your Apprenticeship that will help you with your career?
I have gained many skills during my Apprenticeship, particularly in Adobe Photoshop and Illustrator. I have just finished creating the 2016/2017 prospectus for one of the Expanse Group Ltd brands, which allowed me to develop my creative skills. I have also been able to develop my communication skills.
Has The Media College given you a lot of support during your Apprenticeship?
The Media College have given me unbelievable amounts of advice and support since I started in September. My tutor has always given me great feedback on my work so that I can improve even further. I have all the resources I need to complete my work to highest standard.
What are your plans for the future?
I hope to complete a Level 4 Higher Apprenticeship in Social Media & Digital Marketing or a Level 4 Higher Apprenticeship in Advertising & Marketing Communications with The Media College. In the long term, I hope to gain a marketing management role within the creative industry.
Would you recommend an Apprenticeship for other young people like yourself?
I would definitely recommend an Apprenticeship as an alternative to University. I feel that I have gained more experience and skills by completing an Apprenticeship as I can study towards a nationally recognised qualification whilst earning a salary and gaining real life experience.
